POSITION OVERVIEW

This summer Art Saving Life Foundation offers four summer jobs on “Free Art Therapy Online Workshop” project for young Canadians. The program aims to provide job experience in an exceptional work environment.

ABOUT ASLF

The Art Saving Life Foundation (ASLF) is a registered volunteer-based charitable organization, the mission of which is to assist in the recovery of breast cancer survivors by providing art therapy programs and seminars on achieving self-balance and funding qualified organizations to conduct research.

POSITION and CHALLENGES TO BE MET

Position – Art therapist x 1

  • study and research art therapy
  • develop course for online art therapy workshop
  • provide online art therapy session to cancer patients and survivors group
  • following up

Position – Art therapist administrative assistant x 1

  • online art therapy service admin assistant
  • online art therapy promotion
  • schedule the online session, register, online meeting
  • session follow up

Position – Music therapist x 1

  • study and research music therapy
  • develop course for online music therapy workshop
  • provide online music therapy session to cancer patients and survivors group
  • following up

Position – Music therapist administrative assistant x 1

  • online music therapy service admin assistant
  • online music therapy promotion
  • schedule the online session, register, online meeting
  • session follow up

TO BE ELIGIBLE

  • be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
  • be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and,
  • be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

DURATION

Beginning of May 17, 2021 for 23 weeks, 12 hours per week
10 weeks : course development and preparations
12 weeks : online workshop, one session per week, 2-3 hours per session
1 week : reporting

LOCATION

L’ile-Bizard, QC

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bilingual(English/French)
  • Priority in Art Therapy program or related program
