Art Saving Life Foundation Graduate Scholarship – Awards Celebration 2011


Concordia University held its annual “Donor & Student Awards Celebration” at March 15, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Montreal. The donors from enterprise and charities, and award-winning student representatives of about 400 people attended this grand but warm event. School leaders passionate in his speech to thank those who have set up scholarships as units and individuals for their dedication, so students can be a dream come true, because of their dedication, social harmony and better, more promising future for Canada . Moderator invited donors and winners took turns took a photograph of the whole festival climax after another.

The Art Saving Life Foundation which established by Janet Liu, young artists in Montreal , granted Art Saving Life Foundation Graduate Scholarship to Creative Arts Therapy master program this year for the first time. It is reported that the award is the only one donated by the New Chinese Immigrant in the establishment of a scholarship at Concordia University.

Art Saving Life Foundation is the Federal Registered charitable foundation, established in 2008. The Fund is committed to using art therapy to help breast cancer patient and survivor, as well as funding research and educational institutions. The establishment of this scholarship is to encourage funding of outstanding art therapy graduate students, but also for the Chinese to actively participate in contributing to society to set an example. Art Saving Life Foundation president Janet Liu was invited to attend the event.
