The year 2021 is still tough one due to huge impact of the worldwide COVID-19, our Foundation’s summer programs are still open to work opportunities for students. This program, supported by Service Canada, provides workplace practical experience opportunities for current and recent graduates.
The Art Saving Life Foundation (ASLF) is a registered volunteer-based charitable organization, the mission of which is to assist in the recovery of breast cancer survivors by providing art therapy programs and seminars on achieving self-balance and funding qualified organizations to conduct research.
The Art Therapy online workshop project is for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers , to provide 12 weeks series art therapy activities virtually. Art therapy involves helping those with emotional and psychological difficulties to deal with their problems through a cooperative process of discovery. Participators are encouraged to come to their own understanding of what their art reveals, facilitated by the therapist, who helps to negotiate interpretations of the participators’ paintings/drawings, which are created through a therapeutically oriented art-making process.
Over the past two weeks, we online interviewed selected candidates from nearly 100 applicants CV, and selected two outstanding students, congratulations to them to join our team, working and growing up together:
