Every summer, the Art Saving Life Foundation offers vibrant job opportunities for youth through the Service Canada Youth Employment Program. This initiative allows young people to gain valuable hands-on experience, build self-confidence, and grow professionally in a supportive and creative team environment.

The Art Saving Life Foundation is a federally and provincially registered non-profit charitable organization in Canada. We are dedicated to helping breast cancer survivors through art therapy programs, supporting related research and education, and promoting a healthy, positive lifestyle.

🧑‍🎓 Eligibility:

– Must be between the ages of 15 and 30 at the start of employment

– Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)

– Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or recognized refugee in Canada (Note: International students and temporary residents are not eligible.)

📢Position 1: Zumba Summer Event Coordinator (1 position)

Responsibilities:

– Organize and promote summer Zumba events (including social media outreach)

– Plan and implement fundraising activities in support of the foundation’s mission

– Serve as a bilingual (French & English) host at weekly Zumba sessions

– Coordinate the volunteer team; assist with event setup, photography/videography, and post-editing

Location: L’Île-Bizard, Montreal, QC

Duration: June 9 – August 8 (9 weeks), 30 hours/week

Application Deadline: May 31, 2025

📘 Position 2: Book Graphic Designer (1 position)

Responsibilities:

– Graphic design using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

– Create illustrations for book content

– Contribute to photography and visual storytelling, including layout and design

Location: L’Île-Bizard, Montreal, QC (remote work available)

Duration: May 12 – July 11 (9 weeks), 30 hours/week

💰Compensation & Benefits:

– Hourly Wage: CAD $16.10

– Includes MERC benefits
